Refund eligibility depends on order or transaction status and the rules configured for that transaction type (marketplace, pre-order, booking, catering and others).
Product truth
- Do not say the customer always gets a refund
- Cancellation and refund outcomes can differ by status
- Catering deposits and booking deposits follow their own rules
- Payment confirmation status matters for early-stage orders
If a refund is approved, timing still depends on the payment gateway. It is not described as instant.
