Payment model

Split payment with direct Seller settlement — not a QIUBBX collect-then-payout wallet by default. Gateway costs are split by role: buyers pay Razorpay transaction fees; sellers pay 0.10% for split direct-to-seller.

Zero Commission

0% QIUBBX commission on Seller sales under the Zero Commission model.

Split Payment

Payment is captured through Razorpay and allocated according to the configured split.

Direct Seller Settlement

Seller funds follow the applicable Razorpay settlement schedule and Seller payment configuration.

Seven principles

01SecurePayments are processed through Razorpay with server-side verification.
02TransparentSellers can see gross sales, the 0.10% split fee, net settlement, status and reference. Buyers see checkout costs including any Razorpay transaction fee at the agreed rate.
03DirectSeller portion is routed via the split-payment mechanism and settlement configuration.
04Zero CommissionQIUBBX does not charge commission on Seller sales under the Zero Commission model.
05TraceableEvery transaction is linked: QIUBBX Order ID, Razorpay Order/Payment IDs, Split ID, settlement reference.
06ReconciledOrder → Payment → Split → Fee → Settlement is matched in the ledger layer.
07ScalableDesigned for single-seller, multi-seller expansion, refunds, failed payments and reconciliation.

Customer

Pays the order total at checkout. Sees order summary and receipt with food, rider fee, tax and payment status — not internal Seller settlement math.

Razorpay

Processes the payment, issues provider IDs, and drives capture / transfer / settlement events.

Seller

Receives allocation under split payment and settlement status on the applicable schedule.

Transaction lifecycle

Server creates the QIUBBX order before Razorpay checkout.

01Cart

Customer selects menu items → CART_CREATED.

02Checkout

Subtotal, discount, rider fee, tax if applicable, service fee if applicable, total.

03QIUBBX Order

Server creates qiubbx_order_id (example: QX-2026-000829).

04Razorpay Order

Backend creates razorpay_order_id linked to the QIUBBX order.

05Payment

Customer pays via Razorpay Checkout.

06Verification

Server verifies signature. Invalid → PAYMENT_REJECTED.

Seller payment

Your sales. Your settlement. Clear fees — without marketplace commission on sales.

Example (illustrative) — Seller side

Menu salesRM100.00
QIUBBX commissionRM0.00
Razorpay split / direct-to-seller fee (0.10%)RM0.10
Seller netRM99.90

RM99.90 illustrates 0.10% × RM100 on the Seller split fee only. Buyer-side Razorpay transaction fees are separate and use the commercially agreed rate — not this 0.10%.

Who pays which Razorpay fee

Two different gateway cost layers — do not collapse them into one “0.10% for everyone” message.

Buyer

Pays Razorpay transaction fees according to the agreed commercial rate for checkout processing.

Seller

Pays 0.10% Razorpay fee for split / direct-to-seller payment under the current programme.

QIUBBX commission

0% on Seller sales under the Zero Commission model — not a payment gateway charge.

Buyer — Razorpay transaction fee

Razorpay may charge buyers a transaction fee based on the commercially agreed rate (method and schedule as contracted). This is separate from Platform Care and from the Seller 0.10% split fee.

Seller — 0.10% split / direct-to-seller fee

Sellers pay a 0.10% Razorpay fee for the split payment / direct-to-seller payment function under the current QIUBBX arrangement. This is not QIUBBX marketplace commission.

Zero Commission policy

QIUBBX does not deduct commission from Seller sales under the Zero Commission model.

Zero Commission does not mean zero payment processing cost. Buyers may pay Razorpay transaction fees at agreed rates; Sellers pay 0.10% for split direct-to-seller.

Seller settlement

Seller settlement follows the applicable Razorpay settlement schedule and the payment configuration associated with the Seller account.

We do not promise “money in X hours.” Status is shown clearly: Pending, Processing, Settled, Failed, or On hold.

PENDINGSettlement not yet started.
PROCESSINGSettlement in progress with the provider.
SETTLEDSettlement completed for the period/item.
FAILEDSettlement failed — requires action/review.
ON_HOLDHeld pending review, compliance, or dispute.

Refunds

Eligible orders may be refunded according to QIUBBX refund policy and provider processing — full or partial where supported.

  1. Refund request
  2. QIUBBX refund rules
  3. Razorpay refund
  4. Payment reversal
  5. Split / allocation adjustment
  6. Seller ledger
  7. QIUBBX ledger

Full refund

Original payment reversed for the customer; Seller allocation adjusted according to payment configuration.

Partial refund

Ledger posts a separate refund line (e.g. PAYMENT +100, REFUND −30, NET +70). The original transaction is never overwritten.

Failed payment

If payment fails, the order is not confirmed. Customer sees a clear failure message with Try again / Choose another method.

Try again · Choose another payment method

Pending payment

While status is pending, do not create a duplicate order or charge. Wait for provider confirmation (webhook/API), then mark success or failed.

Duplicate payment protection

If a customer pays successfully but the network fails, a second Pay action must detect existing payment/order/transaction and avoid double charge or double fulfilment.

QXRider earnings
