The founding letter, published essays, and what guides how we build QIUBBX.

Founding letter

When I founded QIUBBX, I was driven by a simple observation that became an obsession: why does e-commerce, supposedly the great democratizer of commerce, extract the highest fees from those who can least afford it, small and medium enterprises?

I spent years watching talented entrepreneurs and innovative SMEs struggle not because their products weren't good enough, but because platform fees consumed their margins before they could achieve scale.

Traditional marketplaces charge sellers upfront listing fees, monthly subscriptions, and commissions ranging from 7% to 30%. They profit whether sellers succeed or fail.

This extractive model creates a fundamental misalignment: platforms win regardless, while sellers bear all the risk.
